Living Habits

The war was cold, grimy, and dingy. The men were worn and battered. Just as were the clothing and blankets they were given. The soldiers never had enough of these materials as well as food and firewood, which would cause trouble with lives, and health later. Some were so desperate for a meal, they began eating their own shoes and other animals around. Diseases were spread so fast, the amount of deaths was unbarable and graves could barely be found.
