"NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION"

"NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION" was a famous cry of the colonists. One of the ways Britain tried to get money from the colonists was the Sugar Act. Also, Britain imposed  imports of molasses from non-British colonies. The colonists later became accustomed to the attempts. The English couldn't ship anything out of England to the colonies. Eventually, the colonists broke the laws and began trading with the Native Americans during the French and Indian war.
